Aldi is introducing a purchase limit of three bottles per customer on its highly sought-after Le Grand Poulet Rosé Magnum, which will be available at a reduced price from Thursday 27 August. This summer favourite, originally priced at £11.99, will be offered for £9.99 while stocks last in Aldi stores across the UK, including in Birmingham.
The magnum size contains 150cl, equivalent to two standard 75cl bottles, making it an ideal choice for summer gatherings. Aldi highlighted the wine’s popularity among both shoppers and wine experts. Sam Caporn, a Master of Wine, has praised the magnum as “gorgeous” and an “even more of a winner” in recent social media posts.
Described as delicate with a pale peach-pink colour, this light, dry rosé features refreshing notes of citrus fruits and red berries. Its crisp character has contributed to its viral popularity this summer.

Shoppers can also purchase the smaller Le Petit Poulet Rosé (75cl) for £6.29. The special price for the magnum is available from 27 August until 2 September, with a strict three-bottle limit per customer to ensure wider availability.
