Police officers uncovered an extensive haul of counterfeit £20 notes, valued at approximately £148,000, hidden in the back seat of a Renault Clio. This discovery formed part of an investigation that led to the conviction and sentencing of three men from the Midlands.
The counterfeit currency operation, which amounted to £160,000 in fake £20 notes, was dismantled following the police’s successful intervention. The three individuals involved have now been held accountable through the legal process, highlighting ongoing efforts to combat the distribution of fraudulent money.
