An 11-year-old girl has died in what is believed to be a drug-related incident, sparking an ongoing investigation by Police Scotland.
The young girl fell ill at her home in Helensburgh on Friday, November 14, and was urgently taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. Despite being placed in intensive care, she sadly passed away on Monday, November 17.
Police Scotland confirmed that the death is currently being treated as unexplained, with inquiries underway to determine the full circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
