Nine UK Breakfast Staples Recalled Due to Mouse Contamination

Moma Foods, a prominent UK porridge and oat drink brand, has urgently recalled nine of its breakfast products amid concerns of possible mouse contamination at its manufacturing facility. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) announced the recall on Sunday, urging consumers not to consume the affected items.

The recall covers seven varieties of Moma’s porridge pots, alongside two sachet products: almond butter and salted caramel porridge sachets, as well as apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar sachets. Moma Foods emphasized that no other products from their range are affected by this issue.

In a statement, Moma Foods reaffirmed their commitment to consumer safety, saying, “While the likelihood of contamination is low, we are taking this precautionary step to protect our customers.” The company advises anyone who has purchased the listed products to return them to the store for a full refund.
