New £1 Reward Rule for Morrisons Customers Using EV Charging Bays Now in Effect

Morrisons has introduced an exciting new reward initiative for electric vehicle (EV) drivers using its stores’ charging facilities. Starting Tuesday, 17 March 2026, customers charging their EVs at any More Fuel Group (MFG) EV Power bay across the UK will earn 5 Morrisons More Points for every £1 spent.

This nationwide scheme highlights both Morrisons and MFG’s shared commitment to improving the EV driver experience and supporting the UK’s transition to sustainable energy.

In 2026 alone, MFG plans to install 250 additional ultra-rapid EV charging bays at Morrisons locations, including those in Birmingham, providing drivers with greater convenience and faster charging options.

Martin Symes, EV Director at MFG, stated: “We’re thrilled to partner with Morrisons to reward our EV Power customers with Morrisons More Points. This collaboration is a significant step towards delivering a seamless, customer-centric EV charging experience. With 250 new ultra-rapid bays coming this year, we’re proud to help build the vital infrastructure for the UK’s electric future.”

Matt McLellan, Group Customer, Marketing and Data Director at Morrisons, added: “Our goal with the Morrisons More programme is to create added value for our customers. This partnership with MFG does just that by rewarding drivers with 5 Morrisons More Points for every £1 spent charging at MFG EV Power bays nationwide.

“As more people switch to electric vehicles, it’s important we adapt our loyalty rewards to fit our customers’ lifestyles. By linking EV charging to Morrisons More Points, we’re making it easier for customers to save—whether they’re powering their car or shopping in-store.”
