Morrisons has issued an important reminder to customers holding a More Card to check their accounts and redeem their rewards. Currently, there is nearly £30 million worth of unclaimed ‘More Card Fivers’—vouchers earned through the loyalty scheme that shoppers may be missing out on.
With the Morrisons More Card, customers earn points on a wide selection of Morrisons own-label and branded products, both in-store across the UK and online. Once a shopper accumulates 5,000 More Points, they receive a £5 voucher called a ‘More Card Fiver,’ which can be spent on future purchases at any Morrisons store or online.
However, it’s vital to remember that points expire 12 months after being earned if not converted into a voucher, and vouchers themselves have expiry dates—12 months for physical “fivers” and three months for digital versions.

Gareth Lloyd, Morrisons’ Director of Loyalty, emphasized the importance of acting soon, particularly with the holiday season approaching: “With Christmas just around the corner, we know customers will be keeping an eye on their budgets. That’s why we’re reminding our More Card customers to check their More Card Fivers before starting their Christmas shopping this year. Whether it’s money off the big Christmas shop or helping reduce the cost of everyday essentials in the run-up to the big day, unclaimed More Card Fivers can really make a difference.”
Money Saving Expert highlights that if a Morrisons More Card hasn’t been used in-store or online for over a year, all accumulated points will be removed. They also suggest regularly checking your points balance via the Morrisons app, website, or on the bottom of your printed receipts to avoid missing out.
With competitors including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Lidl, and Marks & Spencer, taking full advantage of loyalty rewards like these vouchers can provide valuable savings during busy shopping periods.
